Google Cloud Platform hosts many useful REST API services which developer can use in their code directly get the desired functionality without worrying about its development, testing and maintenance. All these API are REST web service which is very light and easy to use in your project. Since REST is a standard form of interface nowadays, any and every application can consume these APIs and build their project.
But before we we can call these service we need to setup few things in Google Cloud Platform. In this blog we'll talk about those steps.
You need a good email account to login to Google Cloud Platform. Login to Google Cloud Platform. Link - https://cloud.google.com/gcp
After login, you will see a welcome screen like below.
Click on "Get Started for free" button. Give some basic details and accept terms and conditions.
Next step will ask your mobile number and send you verification code your mobile.
At the last step you need to give detail about your organization and very important Credit Card Detail for your project. Google will also charge you a nominal amount [2 INR] to verify your credit card validity. Don't worry google will not charge you for this free account until you cross the free usage condition.
After you finish the basic setup part, you need to create a project for your account. After this you ready to use Google Platform for your development need.
